Monkeys are making progress! We have begun installing rollers on our hopper. We've also installed our indexer on our comp bot. The Everybot is now in the process of being built. For the first time in 25 years, we were able to successfully run Photonvision. Things are moving along!

Week 5 Update The prototype intake system on the big competition bot is almost complete. The team is finishing up powder coating on the Everybot. Programming is tuning the launcher in a box. We are testing the comp bot code on the breadboard and the indexer on the comp bot.

What to Expect Two Week after kickoff
2 weeks after kickoff The Grease Monkeys are hard are work at wrapping up the build up with the Kit Bot. They are also prototyping and finishing up the design of the competition bot. Programing is setting up Photonvision on the MAXswerve drive and practicing using YASS. In preparations for practice, the team has built the HUB and the trench. Things are moving along.

One week after kickoff
South San Antonio High-School and Team FRC 457 hosted the 2026 season kickoff on January 10th. Teams were able to attend sessions like Rookie 101 with Rudy Pena and a YASS Programming session with Jayden, Zero from Camber, and Isabella from Broncbots before the official reveal.
